GA: People over 12 are invited by Government to apply to kill alligators

Disturbingly, there are about ten million human residents lurking around Georgia polluting and using up all the water and wreaking havoc in general. See US Census data graph for the human population growth chart which is public data. Then cry tears for alligators :-(

"With upwards of 200,000 alligators lurking in Georgia’s waters, 850 hunters will soon be invited to reduce the numbers with handguns, bangsticks and sharp knives."

"Hunters may use hand-held ropes or snares, snatch hooks, harpoons, gigs or arrows with a restraining line attached. Alligators must be dispatched immediately upon capture by using a handgun or bangstick, or by severing the spinal cord with a sharp implement. The most popular method last year was with archery equipment, followed by the harpoon."
