#ThankYouNestle

Dear Liz,
Today is an important day for millions of farm animals. In case you haven't seen it yet, I wanted to share The New York Times article on Nestlé's signature partnership with World Animal Protection to improve animal welfare.
As Nestlé's key animal welfare partner, we have been working with them to provide expertise and guidance to ensure that their new standards, policies and procedures have the highest possible levels of welfare for the animals involved in global food production.
This partnership gives us the ability to make lasting change for millions of farm animals around the world as it means that the hundreds of thousands of farms that supply Nestlé with its dairy, meat, poultry and eggs will have to comply with higher animal welfare standards.
Many of you have already expressed how pleased you are that Nestlé is making this positive move for animals. I would like to urge you to join the conversation and spread the word on Twitter and Facebook – using the hashtag #ThankYouNestle. Together, we can continue to grow the movement for kinder farming and create real and lasting change.
Thank you for your continued support, we couldn't do it without you.

Regards,
