Subject: Southern Resident Orca Task Force to meet June 3, in Puyallup

May 23, 2019 The Governor's Southern Resident Orca Task Force to meet in Puyallup on June 3
The Governor's Southern Resident Orca Task Force will meet on Monday, June 3, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Pioneer Park Pavilion, 330 S. Meridian, Puyallup, WA.

Washington's public affairs network, TVW, plans to record the meeting. The venue's systems may not support live-streaming but the broadcast will be available afterward in the TVW archives. Please check the TVW website for more information.
Public comment opportunities This meeting is open to the public, and all are welcome to provide comment and learn about the effort to recover Southern Resident orcas. The Task Force will hear public comment in the last hour of the meeting. In addition, the public is invited to submit written comment at any time.
Logistics and parking options
Approximately 80 public parking spaces are available in the Puyallup Public Library parking lot to the east of the Pavilion. The parking lot across S. Meridian (behind Puyallup City Hall) has open parking with no time limits. There is also underground parking access off of S. Meridian (the entrance is right before the gas station). The parking garage may also be accessed from the surface lot behind the building.
A buffet lunch will be served for Task Force members, facilitators, and staff. Other attendees are encouraged to bring their own lunch.
